Sail Ordering Process
The first step is to contact us to let us know what sort of sail you are interested in and for which type of yacht.
We try and reply to all inquiries within 24 hours and we are happy to discuss your requirements via email. Some quotes we can do quickly, price subject to final measuring if your vessel is a production yacht. Other times we will walk you though the measuring process prior to giving a quote for a unique or one off yacht. If you are nearby then we can arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements. With Zoom Sails you are dealing directly with the sail designer, we will provide measuring forms in PDF format, links to instructional measuring videos and often ask for photos to be taken to help us understand the setup of your yacht. Some extra time spent during the measuring and details period makes sure there are no surprises during fitting.
If a quote is accepted we require a 50% deposit to confirm the order. After this deposit is received we move to final measuring and checking of all details, then designing and engineering the sail to enter it into production.
Production time is 2-4 weeks depending on the factory workload and the urgency of the sail. Once the sail is completed we can provide finished photos before the sail is packed for shipping. If the sail is going to a remote location at this point we require the balance payment to be made.
Sails are couriered worldwide with Fedex, DPEX, DHL and UPS
